This is very effective for clearing up bronchial congestion, especially in children prone to respiratory infections.  Licorice root is a strong mucosal anti-inflammatory and eases dry coughs and sore throats.  Cinnamon tastes great but is also useful medicinally as a circulatory and warming stimulant and a strong anti-microbial.  Elecampane is an outstanding remedy for clearing phlegm and mucus from the lungs and is specific for chronic irritation and infection of the respiratory system.
